Lowes Foods will anchor this upcoming master-planned community in Mooresville, Cadia Village Mooresville. Pappas Properties says construction on the 52,000-square-foot store is slated to begin at Cadia Village Mooresville in the third quarter. A 2027 opening is expected.

Maravetz will oversee site selection, acquisition, design, construction and leasing of Pappas Properties’ retail investments. The developer is building wellness-focused communities with retail villages in Matthews and Mooresville as well as other big projects in Charlotte.

Publix will anchor the 82-acre Cadia Matthews mixed-use development at Stallings and Idlewild roads. The grocery store will feature a full-service pharmacy with a drive-thru, Pappas said, and hire about 150 workers. Construction will begin next summer.

Tsau will lead the multifamily element at Pappas Properties’ 11-acre, health-care-anchored, mixed-use project in midtown Charlotte.
