Bob joined Pappas Properties in January 2007 as Chief Financial Officer. Bob Branan most recently served as a leader in the Deloitte Carolinas Real Estate and Construction Industry practice serving both public and private companies. Additionally, he served as the practice leader of the Deloitte Carolinas Private Client Advisor group.
Bob has over 22 years in public accounting with direct experience in the real estate and construction industries as well as serving high net worth individuals and business owners. He specializes in financial and income tax aspects of real estate transactions. Bob has assisted in the analysis and planning of numerous acquisition and development projects. Additionally, Bob’s experience includes five years with The Bissell Companies, Inc. with management responsibilities.
Bob has lectured on the tax implications of real estate investments as well as partnership operations and accounting. He has also served as a seminar instructor for tax accounting methods for construction contractors.
