W. Martin Davis
Davis, VP Land Development, has experience in residential land development and construction.
Formerly with Landcraft Management, a regional residential development company, Davis, as Division Manager, was responsible for all site selection, land acquisition and development. His work involved land rezoning and annexation, major infrastructure, road construction and project development. His career covers small to mid-sized production-home developments as well as large-scale master-planned communities.
As Land Development Manager for Craft Development, a privately-owned regional land development company, Davis monitored civil engineering design and approval for residential subdivision and light commercial projects. His supervision of construction activities included soliciting bids, selecting contractors, negotiating contracts and resolving field-related issues. Davis’ career path has allowed him to experience all aspects of land development from managing contractor schedules and costs to landscaping and project control. Davis holds a BS in Construction Science and Management graduating Cum Laude from Clemson University in 1993.
